ABOUT THE HACKATHON
Participants can attend as an individual or team and we expect skill sets to be varied so all will be accommodated. We’ll have expert mentors covering all AI-related fields throughout the two days if you need support. As this is an open hack you get to decide on the vertical of focus, there will be workshops & talks to give overviews on datasets, challenges, available toolkits and API’s. There’s a strong lean toward computer vision applications for this hack and we’ll have platform access and onsite support from our friends at Intel & Movidius and Insight Centre for Data Analytics for computer vision applications across UAVs, IOT, Autonomous Vehicles, Industry 4.0, Smart cities, AR, VR etc.
There’s plenty of time to share ideas and learn new skills whilst connecting with other participants, plus free food, coffee, and snacks. Lunchtimes should be about fun + food.. we’ll have some tech toys and drones on site. There is a track for developers (new to AI) in addition to a route for experienced ML engineers/researchers.
