Monetising Waste Heat
Exergyn has developed a new technology for converting low grade waste heat(water at 90°C) to electricity or motive power. Essentially, it is an engine that runs on hot water. Our product – the Exergyn Drive™ – is the first technology to commercially convert low grade heat to power.
Our market is, essentially, any process that generates a regular output of low grade heat. Output that is typically in the range of 77˚C – 90˚C with flow rates of a minimum of 2-3 l/s has the raw material for our energy conversion technology. Areas of application are any industrial processes with low grade waste water, waste conversion plants using incineration technologies, landfill sites extracting gas to generate electricity, community energy / district heating schemes, smart city hubs, geothermal sites and shipping.
