Intellicom, Telephony Provider, Launches Web-based Customer Portal

Local business telephony and contact centre provider, Intellicom based at DCU Alpha today announced the launch of its web-based, self-service portal designed to serve its 600 business customers, distributed across the globe.

Branded as Intellicom ‘Inform’, the portal allows customers to monitor and manage their accounts with self-service billing information, call spend and services analysis, inbound and outbound call breakdown, as well as number routing, porting and general administration.

The portal also serves Intellicom’s growing reseller and wholesale base, providing a single dashboard with a holistic view of individual customer services, billing and usage.

The announcement was made on the first day of this year’s National Ploughing Championships from the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Enterprise Village.

‘Inform’ is an extension of Intellicom’s ‘Intune’ business telephony and contact centre system, which was developed in house and launched to market in 2009.  It currently supports users in 32 countries across Europe, US and Asia.

Based on Voice over IP or VoIP technology, the system carries voice and other multi-media traffic across broadband networks and is designed to dramatically reduce telecoms costs, boost staff productivity and enhance customer service for companies of all sizes across all industries.

Commenting on the launch, Neil Wisdom, Managing Director with Intellicom said;

To develop the portal, Intellicom availed of a LEO Innovation Investment Fund grant, awarded by the Offaly Local Enterprise Office.

‘Inform’ will be an evolving system and the initial version will be rolled out over the coming weeks.  All customers will be live by the end of October.
