IMF chief Christine Lagarde to visit DCU Alpha

Inclusion in academia is going to be a key focus as Christine Lagarde of the International Monetary Foundation (IMF) visits Dublin City University.

The IMF boss will be discussing innovation across Ireland’s education landscape, with inclusivity and diversity particular key topics.

A tour of Madame Lagarde of DCU Alpha, the university’s commercial innovation campus, will be first on the agenda on Tuesday, June 26.

DCU Alpha is playing a crucial role in digital innovation in Ireland, and on the global stage.

Madame Lagarde will then join the President of Dublin City University, Prof Brian MacCraith, for an in-depth conversation at an event in The Helix.

Followed by a Town Hall Q&A, the discussion will focus on Ireland’s education landscape and the areas of innovation, inclusion and diversity.
